IDEA Theatre is an amateur theatre group based in
Dordrecht, the Netherlands.

Performing in English, the group brings together people from all over the world to create fun, energetic productions filled with music, dance, and drama.

Founded in 1992, IDEA has over 30 years of experience and has staged more than 75 performances, ranging from British pantomimes to mini-musicals, plays, and lively summer shows.

Our History

I’ve been part of the group since day one, many years ago, and I’ve loved every production we’ve put on — especially the chance to play a wide variety of characters, particularly the evil ones… hehehehe!
